How Do You Define Success?

Let’s talk about success baby!

Society tells us that success is wealth and fame but a Badass is willing to challenge the status quo. You must be willing to create success that looks and feels right to you.
Imagine going through your career and your life missing all the success you created because you were too busy chasing the wrong definition of success.

Success is different for everyone and in order for you to get what you want when it comes to life or work, you need to know what success is to you.
What does it look like? How do you define success?

Be willing to challenge your own assumptions about success. Over time our goals change, we grow and it could be that what you thought success was a few years ago, now looks very different.

Do you equate success with money? Title? Fame? Respect? Influence? Work and life in total balance? Being independent financially or personally?

Maybe it’s a combination or all of the above or maybe it’s none of the above. So long as you have a clear idea of what you call success it’s all gravy. Write that shit down!
You can now start working towards success on your own terms.

If you’re struggling to define success ask yourself these questions to help you.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
What makes you happy?
What do you want to be associated with?
What do you see as your legacy?
What is success to you in 3-5 words?

For me, success is being able to work from home and get paid to do what I love. It’s freedom and I had to hustle to get it but believe me, a taste of the success you desire can drive you to keep at it. To get better, to reach further.

The next step? Don’t wait.
Action and discipline are now your friends. Show up, do what needs to be done and do it every day. You must be brave if you want to reach your goals but courage doesn’t always roar. A small action done everyday that brings you closer to your goals is still a step in the right direction.

Start working towards your goals today. Make a plan and strive to be better than yesterday. You got this!
